Have you ever thought about buying a new house as a project to do up but never actually got round to doing it as the thought is daunting? I have found a few examples of why it is all worth it in the end.

An entrance hall gives the first impression when you walk into a house so you want it to look grand whilst also being practical for all the shoes and coats and other things that we seem to collect at the front door.

With just a bit of decorative molding, some pictures on the wall and some classy looking lamp shades, you can go from this......

The living room is most likely the largest room in the house and is usually the room we spend the most time in, whether is be winter nights snuggled up watching television or entertaining our friends, but with a little colour co-ordination and thought, you could go;

Just a lick of paint on the walls and units has freshened and brightened up this utility room to give it a whole new feel. Doing the washing may not be so bad after all.
